Household sanitizing products are intended to be used in the urban area for cleaning and pest control, such as insecticides, rodenticides, and disinfectants.
Among sanitizing household products are insecticides, rodenticides, and disinfectants. The sanitizing is ruled by the Law 6.360 / 76, RDC Ordinance 59/2010 and RDC 34/2010 being defined as follows:
Household Sanitizers: substances or preparations intended for household sanitation, disinfection or disinfestation, in collective and/or public environments, in places of common use and in the treatment of water comprising:
- Insecticides – intended for the control, prevention, and control of insects in dwellings, places, and places of public use and their surroundings;
- Ratios – intended for the control of rats, mice and other rodents, in domiciles, vessels, enclosures and places of public use, containing active substances, alone or in combination, which do not pose a risk to the life or health of humans or animals when applied in accordance with the recommendations contained in its presentation;
- Disinfectants – intended to destroy, indiscriminately or selectively, microorganisms, when applied to inanimate objects or environments;
- Detergents – intended to dissolve fats and the hygiene of containers and containers, and household appliances.
